Medivh was killed, and Sargeras' spirit was released from his body. After a while, Medivh's closest friends and his apprentice Khadgar banded together and raided his tower of Karazhan. From one orcs display of power, Kil'Jaeden decided to manipulate their race to join once he found them). Medivh then went to the black morass and opened a portal to Draenor/The Outlands and summoned the orcish horde (The orc's potential was shown during the battles waaayyy back in the Well of Eternity days by a time traveling orc.

He somehow creates an AVATAR of himself, a weak physical form, because he is unable to actually bring his physical body in. He had planned attacking Azeroth all the meantime. Sargeras is very Off about actually being defeated. This time they are exiled out of Kalimdor and end up where the current Highborn/Blood Elves reside and there they created the Sunwell with some of the vials of the Well of Eternity. At some point the Highborn once again start using magic heavily (They use magic as their source of energy, not the moon and the night, like nightelves). From that point on the NIGHTELVES detested magic being used. Before a 2nd Well of Eternity could be made, that individual was stopped. Before the Well of eternity sundered, an individual stole away a few vials of the well of eternity, some of these were poured into the lake where the WORLD TREE sat. Eventually they gave way and took in the magic filled water and combined with magic became the NAGA. After the sundering, some of the highborn proected themselves from the well's water using forcefields. As for the bad highborn (followers of Sargeras), some were transformed into various SATYRS during the various stages of the invasion. This is what SPLIT Azeroth in half, the malstorm is where the 2 continents were originally (dont ask how). The bad highborn were stopped by a group of nightelves (not all highborn were manipulated into serving Sargeras), in the process of stopping such a huge portal the well imploded on itself resulting in THE SUNDERING. The portal was only ever opened wide enough for thousands of demons (the first invasion of the burning legion). Should his form have set foot on Azeroth, EVERY living thing would have instantly been incinerated, right down to the grass and subterraneans dwellers if he had wished. His ultimate goal was to step through the portal, but it was never able to open wide enough to allow him access. They were into summoning and conjuring all sorts of power to satiate their lust for magic.Īs stated before, the Well's activity caught the attention of Sargeras, and through the manipulation of the highborn under the leadership and direction of QUEEN AZSHARA (the royalty of the nightelves at the time), he was able to open a portal to their dimension. The HIGHBORN are a branch of the nightelves (before they were exiled for what I'm about to say). It has been hinted in the game and in various sources that the NIGHT ELVES, may have magically sprung up from a group of TROLLS that discovered the well and began to use it (this explains their similarity). SO much so that it caught the eye of the great demon lord Sargeras. This was a convergence of energy leylines with VAASSSTTT power. The original "Sunwell" was a thing called the "Well of Eternity".
